Episode
2: The Ark in Space
By Edward Teach
The
Doctor, his Expendable Sidekick and K9 arrive on a deserted
space station owned by the mystesterious
League in search of recyclable refuse.
They will then be able to use it to patch up the TARDIS after
its bumpy ride in hyperspace through the League Two Galaxy.
They discover that the space station contains the entire population
of the League in hibernation.
In
the meantime, The people of the Memorial have fallen into a deep
sleep as well, their snores reverberating around the halls and walkways
of the crumbling infrastructure. Their slumber should only last for
a few months, although some have been asleep for a lot longer. A
fault in the TARDIS allowed them to doze right through Dr Whoof?'s
regeneration and year long battle with the League Two. The
Master, however, is convinced that the Doctor's inane rambling and
incomprehensible space talk aided and abetted the people's sleep
by boring them senseless.
Can the Doctor and his Expendable
Sidekick wake even just a few of the sleeping members of the League
from the space station? And will they then be able to convince
them to come back to the Memorial in time to recommence the battle
with the League Two, who are also mobilising their forces in the
outer reaches of the galaxy? The Doctor can use their collective
intelligence to further his efforts to gain access to the galactic
highway into the League One Galaxy. Meanwhile the Master continues
to try and influence the new members of the Council to rebuild
the Memorial in his own image.
