Episode 6: Terror of the Bygones

By Edward Teach

The Master summons the Doctor back to Earth using a time and space telegraph device he found at the bottom of a milk churn in view of a mysterious disappearance that needs investigating. A large black hole appeared in the sky over the Memorial and sucked the Expendable Sidekick into its oblivious void. An air of unease descends on the Memorial and everyone starts looking for answers.

The finger of suspicion lies with everyone and no one trusts anybody, not least the Master and the Doctor themselves. The Master calls for calm and Doctor Whoof? starts trying to find a new Expendable Sidekick by ploughing through the records of the League Ark. The Doctor wonders if he will have to go back there to find some new help.

All the while a long forgotten and disgruntled Agent Bell paces around the exit lounge with increasing anger. He has been abandoned by Agent Hewlett who slipped through a crack in the space time continuum to join the cast and crew of the Magic Roundabout for some whacky baccie and Aciiiiiiiiiiiid.

Who was responsible for the black hole? Who killed the Expendable Sidekick? Will he be replaced in time for the attempt to launch into the League Two Galaxy? One thing seems certain, the Doctor will need to find out before a full blown rebellion leads the Memorial and its disgruntled people down the road to self destruction.

Worse is to come for the people of the Memorial. The Gate of Ashton is off the latch and waiting in the wings to unleash its denizens upon the helpless populace. There is an ominous tick tocking sound echoing around the Memorial and it seems there is no escaping the imminent invasion...
