EPISODE THREE: YEOVIL SALAD

by Edward Teach

This week we find Miss Tibbs and Miss Gatsby getting on a coach to visit Terry the Chef's highly regarded restaurant. A jealous Basil on the other hand is a little nervous about his next culinary experience with Terry the cockney chef.

After Terry last visited Fawlty Rovers Basil was left tearing his hair out. Half way through the meal Basil resorted to giving anything and everything in sight a damn good thrashing, including Terry, which left him in a spot of bother with the hotel inspectors. A good firm crack on the head with a dirty spoon for Manuel did just about manage to turn things around despite two of Basil's regular guests storming out as the Major lost what little grasp of the plot he had.

The Major's bumbling incompetence was ably abetted by some of Terry's waiters who tried to con the old fool into betting on the wrong horse by falling over a lot. Ever worried that the behaviour of the Major is going to throw a spanner in his works Basil continues to try and appease Sybil with a gourmet serving of his own. He'd done quite well dealing with the kippers last week finally putting a smile on Sybil's face, but a trip to Terry's could prove to be the ultimate pubic hair in the custard.
